When Leinie’s asks for a new campaign that celebrates the return of summer and their Shandy, you grab some friends, pack a cooler of beer and head to the lake. The resulting work was über successful, helping Summer Shandy become the #1 seasonal and the fastest growing craft beer in the country.
Removing production formalities and organizing the shoot like a weekend away with friends allowed for a laid-back style. All the little found moments translated easily into print and out-of-home.
To build anticipation for Summer Shandy's return, we launched a social campaign where we asked our fans to help us countdown.
Any good summer break has a lived-in tee. So I designed some gear for Shandy lovers.
The successful campaign went on to transition with the seasons into print, out-of-home, digital and social.
